Ogilvie undertook the Phase 1 refurbishment of the Time Capsule Coatbridge for North Lanarkshire Council. The works included the upgrade of the leisure pool, public areas, changing village and installation of new slides and rectification and replacement of corroded steel.
During the works, the existing sports and leisure facilities remained fully operational with no interruption, achieved by the use of temporary hoardings that were visually amenable to the public. We protected existing equipment with double wrap and fire retardant protection. All sand blasting works took place at night and steel fabrication took place off site to minimise programme and limit the effect on the restricted site.
