Donald is Managing Director of Ogilvie Construction and was appointed to the Group Board in July 2013
Donald joined Ogilvie Construction in 1987, following early career development in private practice with Wilkinson Lowe, and led our commercial team as Surveying Director from 1999. Donald has a detailed working knowledge of the Ogilvie organisation and brings a wealth of directorial and operational skills to the business.
Now at the helm of Ogilvie Construction, Donald is responsible for the daily operations of a company which boasts a diverse portfolio spanning both the private and public sectors. Under Donald’s astute leadership and guidance, Ogilvie Construction’s turnover has continued to grow whilst maintaining their ability to remain customer focused and satisfy clients with excellent service delivery.
Donald has been a driving force behind our training and development programmes covering health and safety,site management and Continuing Professional Development and remains a dedicated advocate of our approach to offering opportunities and continued professional development for everyone in the business.
ICAS Chartered Accountant
John Watson is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He joined Ogilvie in 1990 and was appointed to the board in 1993. John is also the Ogilvie Group Finance Director and has overall responsibility for the financial management and treasury function of all Ogilvie Group Companies together with Pension, Insurance and Human Resources.
Prior to joining Ogilvie he had experience in leisure, engineering and retail sectors.

With an enviable four decades experience in construction, Iain is a well-established and respected figure in the industry. He has spent over three decades in senior operational and managerial roles, and in the last decade has moved to a business development focus.
Iain brings the perfect blend of industry and operational knowledge, together with a proven track record in project identification and delivery through his vast network of business relationships built through his long and fruitful career.
This wealth of experience and know-how places Iain perfectly to play an integral role in the continued strategic growth of Ogilvie Construction.
With over 3 decades of experience, including over 12 years at Director level, Bob Gray is a seasoned professional in the Construction industry who has successfully delivered sizable projects with values ranging up to £100 million.
With a proven track record in commercial and operational management, Bob is well equipped to oversee the operational function at Ogilvie Construction with overall responsibility for all site activities.
Richard is an experienced construction professional with over 25 years’ experience and an impressive portfolio of projects in Ogilvie’s specialist areas including hotels and student accommodation.
Joining Ogilvie in 2017, Richard has most recently managed projects for Lendlease, Laing O’Rourke and John Laing.
