Ogilvie visits budding builders at Alva Primary School

Staff from Ogilvie have this week visited a local school to visit a boy who has taken a keen interest in construction. Following classes learning about ‘The World of Work’, the P4 pupil produced a book of poetry and dedicated it to Ogilvie.

His teachers passed on the book to Ogilvie who decided to hand deliver a thank you letter and provide the class with some PPE equipment of their own.

Ben Allard, Site Manager and Jacqueline Neilson, HR Manager, visited Alva Primary School in Clackmannanshire to speak to the class and inspire the next generation of builders.

Ogilvie Construction is working on number of projects in the area, which their teacher says are now being closely followed by the pupils, along with measuring everything in the classroom thanks to some Ogilvie tape measures!

Thanks to all the staff and pupils at Alva Primary School.
