Ogilvie Construction are therefore delighted to achieve a double shortlist nomination at the recent Scottish Design Awards 2012 as both main contractor for Public Building of the Year 2012 and Contractor of the Year 2012. This recognition of Ogilvie Construction’s ongoing commitment to working closely with design teams to learn, understand, and consistently deliver projects of the highest quality that meet (and where possible exceed) the client’s expectations is particularly valued and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported our nomination.
Ogilvie Construction are particularly thrilled to have been acknowledged with the delivery of the Bathgate Partnership Centre with BDP for West Lothian Council . This new building comprises a library, community centre, registration office, accommodation for the Advice Shop and Council Information Services (CIS) and cashier office, a community cafe, the Adult Basic Education HQ, council office accommodation, and meeting spaces for community groups, as well as a landscaped garden complete with an orchard.
