Ogilvie Construction GOLD RoSPA award, Stirling, Scotland 2014
Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Ogilvie Construction Ltd, contribute toa collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
Donald MacDonald, Managing Director, Ogilvie Construction, said: “We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across every area of our operations. We are delighted to receive this award, which recognises that safety is at the heart of everything that we do.”
Ogilvie Construction is part of the Ogilvie Group, one of Scotland’s most consistently successful family owned businesses. The company is over 60 years old and employs over 400 people across its various business operations.
